    HOW IT WORKS

    The gold standard LED (light-emitting diode) technology used in the beauty industry has been adopted by doctors and salons worldwide, due to its efficacy and transformative results.

    70 LED diodes on the CurrentBody Skin LED Hand Perfector use red (633nm) and near-infrared (830nm) wavelengths to heal wounds and reverse the visible signs of ageing on the hands.

    Supported by patented pillow technology, which disperses light for maximum LED coverage, these medical-grade wavelengths increase natural collagen and elastin production. The red and near-infrared light accelerates cell renewal to fade fine lines and wrinkles, also promoting cellular repair for fresh cuts or scars. The results – fresher, younger-looking hands.

    IS LED SAFER THAN UV?

    UV (ultraviolet) light is a form of electromagnetic radiation that comes from the sun and man-made sources such as tanning beds and gel manicure lamps. LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that enters the skin’s layers to improve a range of skin issues.

    As a potential carcinogen, UV light can cause premature ageing, sunburn and weaken the immune system. LED light however, has been scientifically proven to accelerate wound healing, increase collagen and reverse hair loss, making it 100% safe to use.

    HOW TO USE

    Step 1: Clean and dry your hands, ensuring they’re free from sunscreen or other topicals.

    Step 2: Connect your device to the power supply and place on a stable surface.

    Step 3: Place your hands inside, sit back and relax for your 10-minute treatment.

    Step 4: Once complete, unplug from the power supply and apply a soothing hand cream.

    Expert Tip: Apply a lotion, cream or hand oil straight after your LED treatment for ultra-soft skin. Your cells will be freshly energised and ready to receive the active ingredients.

    DO NOT use the device if you have diabetes. It has not been tested on people with diabetes. Please consult your doctor if you wish to use the product.

    Be aware that other substances can cause light sensitivity: St John’s Wort, Coal tar, deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial sweeteners, naphthalene (moth-balls), petroleum products, brightening agents found in laundry detergent, and cadmium sulphide (a chemical injected into the skin during tattooing).
